Hila the Earth (Hila Perry, fka Hila the Killa) is a multi-media, multi-genre sensation who channels her creativity into rap, comedy, TikTok videos, eco-conscious public service announcements, and acrobatics. Energetic and thought-provoking, with playful lyrics that match her upside-down freestyle antics, Hila’s comic irreverence and socially-conscious vision never fails to captivate an audience.
A pioneer of the “Eco-Rap” sub-genre, Hila’s music and videos explore environmental topics from composting to waste-reduction to the correct identification of wild mushrooms, constantly discovering new ways to bring the worlds of sustainably-living and pop culture together.
Hila is also one half of the pop rap duo Nate and Hila, combining forces with philosophy rapper Nathan Dufour to co-create songs, videos, and live shows around themes of ecology, society, and positive change. A resident rapper at Brooklyn’s House of Yes, Hila’s debut album was hailed as “positive, uplifting” and “game-changing” by Popdust Magazine.
