Description
Thanking the sponsors at an award show is a necessary but often tedious affair, rattling off a long list of names who deserve sincere thanks but end up getting no more than a roll call.
The Canadian Special Events Awards honor the best and brightest in Canada’s event industry each year, and for their 2025 Toronto gala, CSE turned to Event Rap to help thank the sponsors in a unique hip-hop set.
Of course, an event of this size and splendor has a LOT of corporate sponsors, in this case no less than 45 of them, so the team at CSE and e-mc2 events worked with Event Rap artist Baba Brinkman in advance to make sure every sponsor got their moment of recognition, with the right framing and tone, and (oh yes), please keep the full performance runtime to under three minutes.
No problem!
Baba worked all of the sponsors into his rapid-fire flow, and delivered the rap accompanied by Canadian Beatboxing Champion Scott Jackson, blowing the audience away.
