Event Rap Artists Dex McBean, Baba Brinkman, and Zeps performed more than 150 improvised short rap sets over the course of two days at the “Freestyle Zone” booth at Expo Expo 2025, based on personal information submitted by more than 120 attendees at the event.

Visitors to the booth offered their business cards or lanyards or filled out handwritten note cards, with the information displayed on screen to provide instant content for the rappers to riff on. Once the stage was set, each card provided the inspiration for an original, personalized freestyle rap which attendees filmed, creating buzz on the floor and delivering smiles and personalized videos to attendees.

Expo Expo is the the major annual show for members of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events, and the “freestyle booth” activation can be adapted to any event, exhibitor space, or trade show to drive engagement and personal connections.
