IMEX Vegas 2024

IMEX Vegas is the world’s premiere event industry expo, held each year at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, and in 2024 IMEX contracted with Event Rap to offer our signature ‘rap up’ recap services to the various Inspiration Hub stages and continuing education panels over the course of the four-day conference.

IMEX forwarded the service offering to more than 60 panel session hosts, and kept it simple, informing them of the option to have Event Rap provide a tight 3-minute rap recap at the end of their 45-minute talk or panel session, if they wanted one. We weren’t sure how many would take us up on the offer, but we were on-site with three different artists, ready to provide the least-intrusive and most informative, engaging, and rewarding creative activations the event industry had ever seen.

And it’s a good thing too, because of the 60+ offers sent out, no less than 40 sessions came back with a resounding “yes please!” This was an immediate logistical challenge, requiring us to make sure the sessions were allocated and scheduled between the three artists, including concurrent sessions where we were each on a different stage at the same time, so that everyone got their rap and left with a smile on their face, and yes, in the end we delivered all 40 recaps, plus more.

In between our 40 scheduled ‘rap up’ sessions, Event Rap roamed the exhibition hall floor, offering branded freestyle content to each booth and participant for their social media, adding up to more than 50 performances by 3 artists over 4 days.
