Carbon Removal Day

Carbon Removal Day

Rap Up performed LIVE by the incredible Baba Brinkman: https://www.eventrap.com/casestudy/ca… If you're organizing an upcoming virtual meeting and want to bring this kind of spontaneous team-building magic to the event, please get in touch with me or Event Rap (dancing cat now available for bookings). At Friday's gathering of the AirMiners community entrepreneurs and supporters of the emerging carbon dioxide removal (CDR) industry shared their recent successes and targets, using technologies as diverse as rock mineralization, biochar, tidal algae, and regenerative agriculture to remove heat-trapping CO2 from the atmosphere and put it to more productive use. We heard inspirational talks by (roughly in order of appearance): Hamed Heidari from C+UP, Grant Canary from Mast Reforestation, Catherine Daley from Evologi Ltd, Isabell Spigel from Puro.earth, Zachary P. from Goal 300, Sergey Ivliev from Vlinder, Tobechukwu Obi from CLARGREEN Technologies, Paul Gambill of the "Inevitable and Obvious" Substack, Matheus Miraglia from remove, Grant Faber from Absolute Climate, Na'im Merchant and Catie O'Neal from Carbon Removal Canada, Joe James from Agri-Tech Producers, video storyteller Bill Aston, Angus Shaw from Nonlinear CDR, Francis Adelaja from Sustave Africa, Valentin Stoykov from Rvvup, and Chris Sherwood from Negative Emissions Platform. Each speaker had less than two minutes and each lightening talk was packed with information, and Baba listened and wrote the rap furiously, knowing he only had about 50 minutes to distill all 20 of their names and project details into my signature ‘rap up' recap performance at the end of the session. So what rhymes with "Happy Carbon Removal Day"? And what's up with the cat?
